This weekend we went to Picton in the Marlborough Sounds. We had a 3 hour ferry crossing in perfect conditions. The weather stayed perfect for 4 days while we visited quiltshops and enjoyed food. Saturday the Picton guild celebrated their 10th birthday with show and tell and the speaker was Ann Scott of NZ Quilter. Such fabulous quilts of such a high standard in the most perfect scenery. Some quilters had arrived by launch and then car while other travelled from the other side of the Island.
